1. Purpose
Operiq AI is designed to help legitimate businesses provide better customer experiences through AI-powered chat. The platform must only be used for lawful, ethical, and business-appropriate purposes.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use Operiq to generate, distribute, or facilitate:
- False, misleading, or deceptive content about your business, products, or services
- Hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that targets individuals based on protected characteristics
- Harassment, threats, or abusive communications
- Adult content, sexually explicit material, or content inappropriate for general audiences
- Content that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
- Spam, unsolicited messages, or phishing attempts
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Medical, legal, or financial advice that you are not licensed to provide
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Attempt to bypass Operiq's safety filters, rate limits, or security controls
- Use the platform to collect data beyond what is necessary for your stated business purpose
- Impersonate another business, person, or entity
- Use Operiq to conduct competitive intelligence gathering against other Operiq customers
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written authorization
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from Operiq's systems beyond normal use
- Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code into the platform
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
4. Data Collection Requirements
When using Operiq's lead capture features, you must:
- Have a clear, accessible privacy policy on your website
- Obtain appropriate consent from visitors before collecting personal data
- Comply with all applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Only collect data that is relevant and necessary for your business purposes
- Honor opt-out requests promptly
5. AI Content Responsibility
You are responsible for the AI responses generated through your Operiq widget. You must:
- Ensure your knowledge base contains accurate, up-to-date information
- Review AI responses periodically for accuracy and appropriateness
- Not train the AI with false information intended to deceive visitors
- Comply with FTC guidelines on AI disclosure where applicable
6. Industry Restrictions
Operiq may not be used for businesses primarily engaged in:
- Gambling, cryptocurrency speculation, or multi-level marketing
- Debt collection or payday lending
- Sale of firearms, ammunition, or controlled substances
- Adult entertainment or escort services
- Any activity that is illegal in the user's jurisdiction
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to privacy@operiq.ai. We investigate all reports promptly.
8. Enforcement
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation. Repeated minor violations or any single severe violation may result in permanent ban without refund.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of Operiq after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
